The OSU Solar Decathlon Team is part of the OSU Sustainability Team. OSU students and faculty are one of 20 teams competing to build solar-powered, grid-tied, high performance homes in the 2009 Solar Decathlon. The competition is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy.

There are numerous opportunities for students at OSU to get involved with energy and related environmental issues. These are the issues that will define this period in our world history. The IEE wants to highlight positive student activities and organizations focused on energy and related environmental issues.
